Sadly, the problems with Blacksite: Area 51 only further the growing list of problematic multiplatform releases on the PS3, and could reinforce the qualms about working with the Unreal Engine among multiplatform developers.

I've had an XBox 360 since launch, I bought the HD-DVD add-on and I buy pretty much every major release for the console but your relentless anti-Sony/PS3 postings and Blu-Ray threadcrapping is starting to make me hate the 360 simply because of its association with you.

I don't know if I'm alone in feeling this way but, man, could you please give it a rest even for a couple of days so that I can get back to enjoying "The Orange Box" and "Halo 3" without the attendant Pavlovian wave of anger you inspire?

Seriously, we get it: the XBox rules, HD-DVD is better and Sony is terrible. Can we get back to talking about games without the "Console Wars" being the focus of every single thread?

What annoys me about these relentless anti-PS3/Blu-Ray posts is... what's the point of them? We all know Ruined's bias, and that's fine, but why plaster the place with this stuff constantly? It's so one sided that it's becoming almost impossible to take the guy seriously, which is a shame as he seems to be a smart guy when he contributes things other than threads like this.

Maybe it's me, but I read this as news of games being delayed. If all he said was Title such and such is delayed....someone would ask "why" and well....now you know "why" without having to ask.

How much of this has to do with the Unreal Engine being developed on an architecture more in line with the Xbox's? I mean, is this a problem on the Wii?

If he's just the helpful messenger, why start this informative posting with a little dig at Moogle?

Honestly, it isn't any single Ruined posting that is objectionable on its own - it's the cumulative effect of one negative posting after another that I find tiresome and annoying. It is increasingly impossible to have a civil discussion about the merits of a game or HD release on dvdfile without everything digressing into a format/console war. Ruined's postings are a big part of why this continues to happen.

I find that to be frustrating.
