Mani have bought games but like a bunch of the games i have bought before i leave unfinished. So i have a top 4 at the moment as some games i will have to wait until Xmas.

1. God of War II PS2 Who the hell would of guessed that my number game so far for this year would be for my PS2 (well played on PS3) I had never been a fan of the PS2 system since i bought mine at its launch. It was my DVD player for a few years and pretty much a dust collector for the past 5. Yet i got sucked into the awesome story, gameplay and graphics of this game. Everything is amazing and a pleasure to play through. Knowing a 3rd GoW is coming out on the PS3 is more then enough bebefit the system purchase itself.

2. Halo 3 Xbox360 Well i thought it would be #1 this year but again i was surprised by something else. Still this doesn't take away from the great game thats till bring hours and hours of joy to play with friends. From local system link/online mulitplayer and too the great Co-op single player missions with up to 4 players. How can you knot say THANKS BUNGIE

3. Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction PS3 Yet another Playstation system game in my top games of '07. This was one hell of a platform game to play. From the great voice work, humour, story, awesome weapons and gorgeous graphics. There was so much to love about this game and enough to maybe get to go back and try the PS2 games too. This was my first taste of the series and hopefully not my last on PS3

4. Guitar Hero II XBox360 Who knew a game i totally suck then and even today would still get onto my list. Again this is another great party game to have with a bunch of friends. Whether you suck or not you can't deny the fun times you can have with this game

About a week ago my wife gave me Mass Effect for no particular reason (yeah, she's that awesome), and I've now played it enough to comfortably stick it into the #2 slot, bumping Halo 3 off the list.

Yeah, half the time if I am not playing with a friend (which I will private chat with), I don't even wear my mic, I just plug it in and leave it on the floor so I don't have to listen to the idiots.

Holy fuck!

I just finished Portal.

Amazing. Love it. Took my #1 slot without even breaking a sweat. Above list has been edited accordingly.

PS3 games

I just ordered a PS3 40GB on the SonyStyle/SonyVISA deal. I plan to get F1 Championship and Dirt, but would like to pick out a shooter. What's the best one (can't be a PS2 game) for someone who has no PS3 games? Uncharted: Drakes Fortune looks good.

I already have BioShock and COD4 on XBox360. Thanks.

Uncharted is by far the best single player... Unreal Tournament has the best online.

Thanks. Uncharted it is then. Unreal looks cool but I never play online.

Replaced Mass Effect for number 5 (rock band). been playing this for the last week. Great game, even if it does seem a little long winded at times
