Anyone want an easy 1000 gamer points?? Ask me how.

Hey Esc I didn't get your add. I had an old XBL account when XBL first started with the spelling you see here on the forum but the one I use now is minus the E.

Is this a public asking, or does one ask you via PM?

Well some people just like to jack up there score like a friend of mine. He was in a race with me to get a higher gamer score so he researched found a game rented it and got an easy 1000 points and passed me. Hell even after he did it he played every game he had to try and cover up the game he used. You know how gamer cards and XBL shows the most recent games you've played, well he burried it pretty good. He's a mac user what do you expect! I stood firm and didn't sink to his level. Then I cracked and did it. Some people like to do it the "honest" way. But some of us are gamer score whores.

I'll take PMs for those interested in the game and spare exposing those pure souls still left the temptation of renting or seeking out this game.

Well, I don't think me being a Mac user has anything to go with it, but I would at least like to know what game it is.

You are probably talking about Avatar: The Burning Earth or something. While I've never seen anyone with the game, I did see a YouTube video of someone just hitting B for a few minutes and getting all 1000 points legitimatley.

Well it is legitimate it just a cheap and easy way to get a 1000 points. When I say honest I mean actually having to work for the achievements.

Go ahead and post it here. I'm sure we all want to know what it is. (We can always go look up our friend's achievements to see who is being cheap. )

If I ever see it for rental, I'd hit it, and by hit it, I mean I would earn my 1000 points.

No Moonraker was right. The name of the game is
Spoiler (Highlight or Triple Click to Read):
Avatar:The last Airbender-The Burning Earth
.

The points are just so insanely easy to get it's ridiculous. 5 minutes from the time I popped the game in the drive till the last of the 5 achievements popped up.

In the world of gamerpoint achievements, there is no such thing as cheating.

Scene it! is insanely easy as well.

But it's hardly cheating, I bought the game because I thought it would be fun for a party...and it almost was.

Cheating?? Because the developer made it so easy or that people take advantage f it. I bet Ben Roethlisberger would do it.

Please keep the gamerpoint discussion in this thread, and not the gamercard thread.

Thanks.

Well it is ridiculously easy 1000 gamer points. Also any of the 2k6 sports games especially College Hoops 2K6 and NBA 2k6 are really easy. As well as Madden 06. My opinion is you can do whatever you want with your gamerscore. I could really care less if a person plays easy games or not. Hell I have Gamefly so at some point I'll get the game and get the easy points and send it back.

Ironically Gamefly sent me that game because the other few I had above it were out. No joke it took me about 3 minutes to get all 1000 gamerpoints. Now that I did it I'm kind of ashamed.

Sure there is. An achievement is just that, an achievement which you could have pride in - some more than others . The developer programs the parameters to get the achievement, and however you reach those parameters does not matter. After all, the devs get to set ALL of the rules to unlock the achievement. If they made it too easy or simply didn't think of a certain scenario that would unlock the achievement easier - well, that is their fault, not the player's. The player's job is to unlock the achievement period, not necessarily unlock it exactly as the dev expected.

Of course, some specific achievements are more difficult to get than others. So its not only your GamerScore (which really shows how many games you play and how thoroughly you play them), but also the specific achievements for each game found within that player's gamercard. The Avatar achievements, for instance, are not as "cool" as a COD Veteran achievement.

Did you get something when you have a lot of gamer points? Or is this like Prestige Mode on COD4?

I think the achievements and gamer scores are a great bragging rights competition to have between friends. Especially when you have a group of friends all with the same game. I am constantly checking my friends gamer scores and like games achievements.

Do you get something?? I do sometimes. Text messages on my phone. For instance "You bastard you got by Green Grass and High Tides on hard??" of course texts like that unlock a big smile on my face!
