Holy Crap! Awesome Zelda Deal at EB!! - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I just got back from picking up my preordered and paid for Zelda: The Wind Waker and as he was ringing it up he asked me if I wanted to pick up another first party Nintendo title for $5. I was like "no shit?!" I walked out of there with Metroid Prime and Zelda (and Chu Chu Rocket [DC] but that's beside the point.) I don't know if this is an EB or Nintendo thing though because on my reciept it says "price override" and doesn't list any coupon code at all.

Five fuckin' dollars got me a new (but gutted, I just have to switch the case) fuckin' copy of Metroid Prime! I am so stoked right now. I was going to buy Xbox Live today but I decided against it as I had to dip into my $53.11 that I brought along for XBL to get Metroid.

SO COOL!

I just picked up mine and nothing of this sort happened. I payed for mine awhile ago as well. That makes me mad if my store didn't do it. Sounds like they might have made a mistake or something. Gread deal ikea.

I asked yesterday and both employees said "naw man." You had a great deal there IKEA. I'm just happy to finally have Windwaker.

Sounds like it. Nobody knows about this "deal" so I assume the guy was thinking of something else. Someone suggested that maybe it was supposed to be a "buy another Nintendo title, get $5 off" which sounds feasible (sp). I just hope this kid doesn't get in trouble. He's a cool guy. And his name is Bill too.

I haven't even touched Winder Waker, Ocarina/Master Quest, or Metroid Prime yet.

I've been playing Red Faction non stop since Sunday. Almost done. Then I'll probably check out Wind Waker... not for long though. I have a big ass, pivotal grade-wise test to study for.
