Glitches on "Witches" - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I have problems with "Witches" - the Hammer horror movie with Joan Fontaine from Anchor Bay. The player plays the first seven or so chapters, then its starts to pixelate and it finally stops. Then, nothing worked - not the Menue key, the eject, or even the power key on the remote. I could finally get the DVD out by turning off the power on the player itself.

I sent the DVD back to where I bought it for a replacement - and had the same problems. Then, I sent it back for another replacement. When that came - again the same problem. I checked the DVDs on my Panasonic A310, another Sony player and the DVD drive on my Dell. All have the same problems. I e-mailed Anchor Bay, but have not heard anything.

Is there anybody else with the same problem? Or does anybody know of any press release or announcement regarding problems with "Witches"?
