The Contender - Major disc glitches past chapter 1-13
I watched this DVD when I first bought it a couple of months ago, and it played smoothly all the way through.
I sat down to watch it again tonight, and after chapter 1-13, the audio and video become extremely distorted, to the point of being unwatchable. Eventually my player gives up and hangs. The first 12 chapters and the menu plays perfectly. I've spot checked my other DVDs, and they play fine. I've cleaned the disc carefully according to the manufacturers instructions. Tonight is only the second time I've opened the case, so it's very clean already. My question is, it appears that the DVD is defective... how do I get a replacement from the company (Dreamworks)? My DVD player is a Pioneer DV-333, and I've never had this problem before. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
