Problems with my Pansonic DVD player? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I have been trying to watch Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels on my Panasonic RV-31 DVD player.

It keeps telling me it cannot play this type of DVD...whatever that means. I would figure it would just say NO DISC and leave it at that.

Anyway, it's the only movie I can't play and was just wondering if this has ever been mentioned before.

Have you tried another copy of the disc? I presume the player's region code and the disc's region code are the same or are you using a multi-region version of the RV-31 player?

No it's just a Region 1 DVD player.

I assume it's a Region 1 DVD because it has a picture of the world with a big 1 in the middle.

Anyway, I borrowed it from a friend so I haven't tried another copy. Anyway no biggie.
