I don't know if this is normal but for some movies - during a movie, you can see like a white sparkle or small white spot. Also, for some movies, a small black slash appear in one or two scenes in a movie.

For example, the movie Antitrust - the beginning when Ryan Phillipe character and his friends are in the garage fixing up the place. As a character comes in - a small black slash appear in the right hand corner. Is this normal? Nothing is wrong with the picture and the movie plays fine but that one scene has the black slash. I rented the same movie from the video store and that copy did the same thing.

Welcome to the forum min!

Some I'd chalk up to physical film imperfections and others to small authroing errors. I know Heat has some white speckles.
