sound on tomb raider dvd

is it just me, or does the background music on tomb raider seem really low? i remember in the theater it was loud but know i can barely hear. anybody else having this problem?

Try the suggestions in this thread. I have the DVD and haven't had a problem. Please list what dvd player and receiver you are using. It might help you getting a quicker solution if others reading have the same models.

my player is a toshiba sd-1700 and i can't remember what the receiver is. the thread did help out alot, it took awhile since the instruction is nowhere to be found but it works now. thanks!!!

No problem. A lot of people have had this same problem with different titles. This seems to be the fix. I believe there is a setting on the DVD player itself that tries to normalize dialog as well. You might want to turn that off as well. I'm at work so I don't have my manual in front me, but I will post the exact option that controls it when I get home.
