what the hell is a c:13 error
I'd be interested if anyone has a collection of definitions for the various error messages
and also why does ejecting the disc often eliminate the c:13 error? is it a load error ??? ------------------ "would you like a chocolate covered pretzel?" |

c:13:00 errors are Sony's way of telling you that the disc is dirty. The laser eye in Sony players are very sensitive to small scratches, dust, or fingerprints. Try cleaning the disc even if you can't see any debris on it, and then try it. You may also try resetting the player by unplugging it from the wall for 10-15 seconds.

Too bad I didnt see them Before ! Sony's excellent rep has been tarnished (I own many many sony products usually never a problem .. now this... ) stay away from this player. |
