Platoon SE

I just got Platoon SE, and watched it today...

I noticed that between chpt 13-20 it gets awfully "choppy", and in some spots it froze, i tried replaying the chapters that froze and it never froze in hte same exact spot but usually around the same area.

My player is a samsung (just got for xmas)

anybody else seen this before?

Dudley,

Make sure the disk is clean.

You said froze, and choppy both. Sometimes a player that has problems with a layer change will get choppy or freeze momentarily. Also test a disk you think is defective on another player. If it glitches on both plaers, then you know it's the disk.

Thanx Flash,

The first thing i checked was the cleanliness of the disc (clean),

Then i thought about the layer change... but the fact that it was choppy and freezing across a few chapters made me think it wasn't a layer change, so i'm going to try the other player test..

the only prob i have doing that is finding a buddy with a dvd

thanx for the help...

Platoon glitch

My Platoon SE freezes at 45:09 (chapter 12) at my Toshiba SD-2109, and at 45:06 on my Pioneer PC DVD player. I swapped the disc for a new one, but same thing happened. I tried the replacement disc on a KISS-1302 player, and it worked fine on that one. Something is odd about this disc
