Carbon,

I don't think a DVD pressing could cause colors to fade in and out, who knows, maybe I am dead wrong.

This could be a faulty connection, make sure all cables are all properly pushed in. Or maybe you have a bad cable.

Next check the color setting on your TV, your set could need calibrating. Many DVD's now have a "test your TV" mode built in. Otherwise check out a home theater setup disk like Avia or Video Essentials.

This sounds very similar to what I am getting on my computer. I also put in a post earlier about PCFriendly having trouble with Shrek. But when I install InterActual v2.0 from the Shrek DVD, I am still receiving problems.
It states that I need to change the color and other display settings for my computer, I have put the colors down to 16-bit and the display to 800x600 and I am still getting the same error message. It is not possible for my computer to go any lower, otherwise I would be in the dark ages. I don't beleive this could be a problem with the actual DVD, but why the Shrek one? Other DVDs have worked for me before...
