Welcome to the forum oddbodd!

Does the disc have any playback problems?

I think I heard something about problems with the prints used for some episodes of that set, so that's probably all it is. No defect in the DVDs themselves, just the source material. Could be wrong though.

Oddbod,

Sounds like a pressing issue but not a DVD Rot issue.

Let us know how all the disks play.

Ok, it the disks play fine, then everythings cool. I'd still hang onto the receipt though just in case this turned out to be a very early form of DVD Rot. But I don't think so.
