odd breakup with MASH movie
I was watching MASH the other night and around the 88 through 91 minute mark (after the layer change) the screen started breaking up and pixelating, then froze.
I've watched the film a few times since it came out (January??) and this is the first time there were any problems. When it froze I ejected the disk, started it back up and skipped to the problem point - and it played fine at this time. Has anyone had similar problems? I'm afraid there could be something funky going on with the top layer affecting the read of the bottom layer. I've had that happen before but always the first time I watched the movie, not months and multiple plays later. My player is a Panasonic or Pioneer (I can never remember which) DV434 |

The DV434 is a Pioneer player and I have NOT heard anything at all about MASH being problematic....
Hopefully someone who knows more will post some useful info... Peace....
