Peter Pan SE repressing now available...

A repressing of the Peter Pan Special Edition DVD is now available which supposedly corrects the single-frame MPEG glitch many players display at 00:42:53. If you have Peter Pan SE and experience this glitch, call the # on the disc for the replacement.

I have tested this repressing on a Panasonic A120 and though the glitch is not as bad as the first pressing, there is still noticable MPEG blocking... Will call Disney tomorrow to see what the story is.

Ah, dude! This is bad news for ME indeed! I just picked this one up at a flea market last weekend (new) for $13! I didn't know there was a glitch. Is it only on certain players??? Damn dude, I hate hearing stuff like this, especially on DVDs I haven't watched yet!!!!

Apparently Disney said there was some other glitch with Peter Pan that was fixed in the repressing, and the above MPEG glitch is only with certain firmware revisions of the A120. In other words, I'm SOL until I buy a newer player. If you don't experience any glitches with your copy of Peter Pan I wouldn't worry about it.
