Trek Boxed Season supplements

Looking at the Star Trek TNG Box set supplements, has anyone noticed that whenever a title is supered over video, the video's focus goes shaky? I've caught it in all of the supplements so far, most recently in Season 3.

I don't think it's my player. To me, it looks like whatever system they mastered on might not have been synced correctly.

Hey Quinn,

First off, welcome to DVD File Forums.

Now, when you list a glitch always try and state which region you are in and what DVD player you are using. That way other members can compare.

Also, did you try the disks in a different player to see if you get the same result? If not, then you know it's the player, if so, then maybe a bad disk and you can exchange it.

Though this is Paramount and they had the known issue with The Godfather box... Hmmm.

Let is know what you find out.

More info

Thanks for the welcome, and the tips.

I've been referring to the Region 1 TNG sets, and watching them on a Panasonic DVD-RV30. Yes, I've seen this effect on all 3 season releases so far. I won't get a chance to try these discs on another player for a while, but I wanted to throw the question out there. (I've found useful info on other discs lurking for some time, had to shout out on this one, though.)

I work in TV production, and to me it looks like something that happened when the disc was created. But, I could be wrong- so I turn to the board in case I'm askew here.
