Godfather packaging defect? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I think this is an old problem, but I just got my Godfather Trilogy package and the center spindle on the fifth disc package is broken in parts, and I think another has some cracks. I can't seem to find any reference to it now, but I thought I read somewhere it was a defect(thus maybe exchangeable). Anybody know?

Did you get your set from Colunbia House? That place is notorious for having broken center spindles. I haven't heard anything particular about that set being defective. Maybe a bad batch somewhere? Anyway, I'd take it back for a replacement.

Unfortunately I got it off of Ebay so I might have some trouble.
