UHF problem
On my copy of UHF, I've noticed that the disc pauses and freezes for a second or two about two minutes into the movie when I play the widescreen version on my Sony DVP -530D (the scene is when Al is crossing through all of the danger signs and tape). It plays fine when I played it on a Sony progressive scan player. The fullframe side doesn't have this problem on my player either. Exchanged the disc once and I'm still having the same problem. Is anyone else having a similar "glitch?" Its probably just a problem with the player, instead of a coding problem but I thought I'd check anyway.

It may be your player. That's one possible idea anyway. My UHF disc doesn't have any problems what so ever, so again, it my be your player. Just a hunch. Might want a second opinion however. Hope this helps. ![]() |

My disc doesn't have that problem either. I'm assuming it's your player.

I'm a little late to the party having just received my UHF a couple of days ago.
Mine also has the glitch on the widescreen side but not the P&S side. My DVD player is a Sony DVP-S725D.
