Donnie Darko Help- Possible Spoilers - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

First off, want to say hello to everyone, as this is my first post....I finally went out and purchased Donnie Darko on dvd, which I absolutely loved....However, I had a problem with the dvd near the end....

Right when Donnie and Gretchen are attacked by the two thugs at Grandma Death's house, and they are dragged outside,
the DVD freezes up and gets all pixelated for about 5 seconds, and then it goes back to normal...I tried it the other night on 2 of my other players, and it worked fine, so I figured it was my player...I'm using a Toshiba, but I'm not sure the model number, it has two trays, so I took everything out of it and sprayed a can of airduster into the player to try and fix the problem, which it didnt...In fact, it made the skip a little worse even...Anyways, I tried the dvd on my PS2 last night, and it skipped in the same section as well, is this the layer change? I couldnt find any scratches on the disc at all, but would something like the Skip Doctor help? Did I mess up my player by spraying the airduster inside? Any suggestions would be great, sorry for such a long, rambled first post.....Thanks in advance

I'd suggest exchanging the disc. DONT use the disc doctor if you plan on exchaning it though.
