Memento (Limited Edition)
On Disc 2, after I press exit from the "Memento Mori" short story by Jonathan Nolan, I am taken back to this multiple choice test; I press "Menu" on my remote to get back to the main menu, but nothing happens.
I have a Panasonic DVD-RV32.

I don't have my copy handy (
) but the Memento LE DVD has been difficult ot navigate for a LOT of people. The behavior you are describing *might* just be part of this DVDs behavior. Until someone else responds, you can try it on someone else's DVD player (like a friend or something) and see if the behavior happens on their machine. Good luck! Peace.... P.S. I LOVE your avatar... ![]()

I just got this last week. When I choose DTS via "Listen", the movie plays through with subtitles on, even though I expect that by default they should be off. If I remember to force subtitles off via the "Read" menu before I play the movie, it's fine. Rather irritating, because it takes a while before I realize they're on (first subtitle occurs when Teddy screams in reverse).
If I remember correctly, my 5th Element Superbit has the exact same problem. If I hit play ("Watch") as soon as I start up the DVD, then the subtitles are off, but I get DD 5.1 rather than DTS. Anyone else come across this? I'm using a Pioneer DV-343. -HM Last edited by Hollow Man : 01-15-2003 at 03:18 AM. |
