wierdness on my ep 1 disc - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Ok this morning I was bored (and pissed at my downstairs neigbor for blasting her crappy music) so I threw on the pod race scene, and I noticed the words Lucus, Knull, Coleman, and some others, kept flashing at the top center on the picture. Anyone know about this, or have any Idea how to get rid of it?

Seriously, I haven't seen that. Do you have subtitles playing or some weird audiotrack instead the normal one?

I've seen it happen a couple of times on mine. You might want to search The Glitch Exhaust forum for some old threads. You might have to look back pretty far.

It is the names of who is talking on the directors audio track. You should be able to turn it off by switching the subtitles, or going back to the main menu and making sure to turn the commentary track off.

its not a subtitle thing I tried that, Ill try playing with the comentary tracks when I get out of class.

I can't remember which movie, but this happened to me too recently. The movie (I think it was an MGM release) had no subtitles, but it did provide a commentary track,. I didn't know that id didn't have subtitles, so when I hit subtitles, I kept getting the names of people who were speaking on the commentary track, even though I wasn't listening to the commentary track at the time.

It is a subtitle thing...simply choose "no subtitles" in the menu, and those names will disappear like a fart in the wind.

All Star Wars stuff goes in the Star Wars section, except glitches. So we'll move this to Glitch Exhaust.

All that is is the designator for the speaker on the multi participant commentary.

So it's really not a glitch, you just thought it was. Confusing isn't it?

Lo Pan it is not a subtitle thing, I set "no subtitles" and every other subtitle available and had the same problem. But I still have not tried changing the audio tracks Ill try and do that when Iget back from class today, emphesis on try.
