Matrix Problem

I watched my Matrix DVD tonight for probably the first time in 6 months or so.

POSSIBLE SPOILER

Right at the end where Trinity is telling Neo that she loves him the picture either freezes or it skips to a diffrent chapter. I am unable to watch any part of the movie from the time Trinity says I love you to the part where Neo stops the bullets in mid air.

END SPOILER

I have checked the DVD for any scratches and dont see any. I cleaned the DVD a couple of times and it's the same thing. This is the only DVD I have any problems with. Any ideas?

Oh, by the way I have a Sony DVP-S330

Yes, I have watched the DVD 4 or 5 times before with no problems. It was one of the first DVD's I bought.

Same spot in the movie, different problem. We were watching it on my girlfriend's player (an older Sony, not sure what model number), and sound/dialogue suddenly went noticeably out of sync with the picture. I pressed stop, then play, and rewound it to the point right before, and it was fine. That's kind of a typical problem with some of the older Sony players from what I've heard though. I haven't had any problems on mine so far. Plus, I seem to remember hearing that there were/are a fair amount of defective Matrix discs out there, so maybe you've got one of them. My copy of the World is Not Enough Played fine for a few weeks, then all of a sudden it just wouldn't play at all on my players or most others.
