The Civil War audio glitch

There is a problem with the last episode on the last disk of Ken Burns' The Civil War. The DD 5.1 sound track is out of synch with the picture. I mean visibly out of synch. Shelby Foote's mouth starts moving about a second before you hear his voice.

Has anyone else noticed this? If this is a problem with the mastering, I hope WHV will offer some kind of replacement.

Noticed here, too. Rather upsetting considering the high-profile nature of the release and the pride with which they presented this as a restoration...

Are you guys using the same kind of DVD player? Maybe it's an "issue" for certain players......

Peace.....

I'm on a Sony 550D if that helps, but I'm pretty sure the trouble is not a HW issue; in fact, this is utterly the ONLY disc I've ever experienced any kind of trouble with - period... and that includes a collection full of usually problematic (for others, anyway) Disney titles...

5.1 audio sync issues

I have problems with the last 2 episodes. I noticed it first at the 1 hour mark of episode 8. Continues into #9.

I am using a Toshiba SD4700.

Bummer. But at least the 2.0 soundtrack is fine. Nevertheless, hope they fix it.
