Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves - DTS sync error?

Hi,

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Warner had included a DTS track on the extended edition of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (runs 155 min).

Unfortunately it loses sync during the last third of the film (just when the Sheriff tells Marian they will marry and most noticable during a new scene between the Sheriff and the witch Mortiana). Then it's about 1-2 seconds out of sync - I switched over to the Dolby Digital track for the rest of the movie.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is it my player (Pioneer 906) that's getting old. I have heard some of Pioneer's older players has syncproblems on certain titles.

I am grateful for any kind of hints regarding this!

I think that this should really go into the "Glitch Exhaust", but I'm no moderator...
But, back on topic, I didn't notice a problem when I played this on my RCA.

You're right Jerm -- and I think (as Mod) I'll be moving this to GE. I didn't see any Glitch threads on this title as of yet.

Don't have the disc yet, so can't comment myself, either. But I'm sure someone else will be happy to...

Im pretty sure alot of people bought this DVD, yet no one can help?

I didnt notice when I saw it last night, but my dad did when he saw it today. That sucks

Heres a BIGGER problem though!
I noticed this when I saw the movie last night: When the Sheriff is going to torture Will, he starts to yell something, but the scene quickly cuts out. It seems like it wasnt meant to cut there or like the DVD skipped. Whenever I rewound it, it still cut at that moment. Is it meant to be this way of is the DVD messed up?

It occurs at the time 1:54:15

I also noticed the sync error and the Dolby Digital track is not perfect either - as for the picture, although it is in sync..
