Confessions of a Dangerous Mind Deleted Scenes

The whole disc plays great otherwise so I am facing the standard conundrum of returning it for a new copy or living with it. Anyhoo, for some reason the deleted scenes just will not play. it just pauses on the special features screen for a few seconds then it jumps to a Miramax 'Ain't We Awesome' trailer. I have not tried it on another player yet, to see if it my problem, but I just want to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Hmm... I haven't watched this yet, but I'll rent it and see how it behaves. What kind of DVD player (make/model) are you using and let us know if you try it on another player and what happens with that.

EDIT: I should be able to check this out later this week.

Peace....

Don't laugh....

but right now I have a cheapie KLH player. Now I know what you are thinkin' but this sucker has been more reliable than any Sony, or Philips player I ever had!! Aside from a few goofy flaws (and NO player is perfect...) this little kickaround unit has been pretty solid. This strange incident with COADM not withstanding, of course. Which is precisely why I had to ask around to see if anyone else has experienced this, or if it is just me.

Well, I've got this DVD in my hot little hands right now.

When I go to "Special Features" and choose "Deleted Scenes", I'm prompted for the deleted scene commentary to be turned on or off. Did you even get that far?

There seem to be 11 deleted scenes and I'm watching the "pizza eater" one now. This is on a Pioneer DV-656a. So, try your copy on another play to eliminate your KLH "workhorse" as a culprit. If you can still exchange your DVD, try that as well as that particular copy might be problematic for your KLH DVD player.

Peace...
