X-Files Season 4

I remember seeing X-Files problems posted some time ago. I'm having trouble with Season 4 and wondering if anyone can replicate the problem.

The problem is that the picture pixellates for a second. Other than that the disc plays fine. When this problem occurs, the sound is not affected and it doesn't freeze. The problem happens during the last 30 seconds of Episode 3 of disc 4 which is Kaddish. It occurs right before the ending credits around the part where Mulder tells Scully that the lady is saying goodbye (referring to her husband).

If anyone can check that and let me know, I would appreciate it.

My DVD Player is a Toshiba SD-3108. However, I've checked the disc in a Pioneer DV-525, a PS2, and a DVR-105 and it occurs on all of them in the same exact manner. Thanks.

Thanks for the information. I've tried to replicate the problems in those threads, but mine played fine. I'm glad I posted mine since it is different.

I wonder if a sticky should be made for problematic X-Files DVD's since there seem to be many. I may end up buying another Season 4 set and selling mine for dirt cheap. I hate to do that, but none of the stores in my area still carry Season 4.

Thanks MooglePorn. Let me know what you find out.

Just checked it a minute ago... no poblem in that area on my disc. I run my movies on a Pioneer 5-Disc, if that matters... I think it's a scratch or spot on your disc though...
