HULK question-glitch?

You guys who have/watched Hulk DVD, can you tell me if the following scene sounds the same on your copy please?

The scene in question is towards the end of the movie at Lake Whatever-it’s-name-is where the showdown between Hulk and his father occurs. After father starts bubbling up and the “gamma missile” hits it/him and explodes, there is just one short deep “boom” that I hear and than nothing but a low level hiss (low meaning in sound level – NOT frequency) and then it cuts to General. I was sure expecting some low level (frequency vise) rumble after that initial boom!

Is it the same on your copy, or I have the screwed up one?

Thanks

I watched this over the weekend and don't recall hearing anything "unusual" or "lacking" in the audio track at all. Maybe you're expecting a "boom" that just isn't there.

I still have the DVD so I can play that scene again and pay closer attention to the audio at that spot.

Peace...

Yeah, I just played that scene too and I agree with Moogle on this. It sounds like a desired effect. I guess that blast is similar to a nuclear blast and in the movies those tend to hav close to silence after the initial explosion.

I think it's all good...

Peace...

Thanks guys.

I guess my expectations were too high for “gamma explosion”.
