Rush in Rio Disc 1 - no layer-switch problem!

I'm wondering if anybody else had a problem with this disc or a similar problem with another disc and could tell me what the cause might be.

At the intermission, just after chapter 13 (around 73:00, just after the song Natural Science) the image fades to black as an announcer speaks Spanish and then, the soundtrack stops but the seconds keep counting (maybe a little too fast I noticed) until, at 73:06, everything just freezes.

During this, the chapter doesn't change to 14 although I'm pretty sure it should since when I pressed the "next chapter" button, the image and sound actually went back a few seconds and picked-up from there (the seconds resumed from 73.06). Also, there was a split-second sound breakup just before this happened.

The layer-switch seems to be a couple of songs later (after the song Driven) so I'm not sure what might cause this glitch.

I'm no expert so I'd like to know what you can make out of this.

FYI, I'm using a Pioneer DV-525 and this is the first time I have something like this happen although I've seen my share of glitches.

Thanks.

By the way, this is a great sounding DVD of RUSH at its best. The songlist is just amazing. Highly recommended!

This happened to me on my Pioneer DV-343 player last week. Exact same spot - right as the intro movie (with the dragon) plays before "One Little Victory". I upgraded to a 563A this weekend, and the problem went away. But there must be something that's slightly incompatible about this disc with some players.

I found that on that player clicking the fast forward button once was enough to get it past the pause.
