I haven't even tried the DVDROM content yet, but it seems to me that my copy was just a mess. There were countless white streaky pixilated things that ran across the bottom black letterbox bar on mine at different points. Also, the top edges were really jittery. I'm not much of a picture perfectionist (as I don't have a top-of-the-line theater) but these problems were enough for me to take notice and be unhappy with.

Sorry, can't really be of much help with this one. The studio did not use InterActual software or support for the ROM on this release, so there's nothing on this disc apart from the DVD video that our player can display. They apparently included a proprietary interface designed for them by somebody else. I messed with it a little and the "Disc 2 Main Menu" option tries to fire your default DVD player using the regkey value in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > DVD > Shell. If that key is not defined properly in your registry then this feature won't work. The rest is just some weblinks.

So you've noticed the problem as well though?

I didn't notice the problem on this disc; it worked in my system. Judging by the nature of the error messages though, my guess is that this link is trying to trigger your PowerDVD player for the video, but you may have a multi-drive system and the drive letter is not being properly specified. Whether the goof is in your registry, or in some command that the disc is throwing, I cannot be sure.

Of course you could just bypass the problem by not using that link, and triggering your PowerDVD player from the Start menu. It's the same difference.
