Kentucky fried movie disc

I just tried to play my 2 year old kentucky fried movie disc and nothing happened. I have tried it in 3 different players and they all just say no disc.The arwork has the original sneaker artwork on the cover. I notice this dvd got rereleased with a different cover. Is this dvd rot? The dvd had worked when I bought it a few years ago.

I also have the original sneaker cover Kentucky Fried Movie, and just popped it in. It worked fine, so whatever the problem you're having with yours is not a disc wide issue. Hope this helps.

While it doesn't appear to be a widespread problem, since you've tried the disc in 3 players, and it reacts the same way, your disc has likely gone bad sometime during that time. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it. All you can do is purchase a new copy.

Which studio put the disc out? Try contacting their customer service. They may replace the disc. I've replaced discs through HBO and Warner Bros.

Its an Anchor Bay release.

I haven't tried mine out in well over a year, maybe even 2

so I'm defintely gonna have to pop that bad boy in (I love that flick).

My uncle on the other hand had a similar issue. He ended up buying it again but I'd defintely give AB a call 1st.

It's a shame you didn't spot this a few weeks ago, because some stores like Best Buy had a "no receipt" exchange period during the post-X-Mas holidays. You can exchange an item for the exact same item, if they have it in stock, even if you don't have a receipt.

Best Buy's exchange period ended on January 15, and I imagine the exchange period at most places is over by now. If you're in no hurry to watch the disc again, you might try to do an exchange after the next X-Mas period. But that is a year away.

That's awesome! Did they just ask U to cough up the disc 'n' whatnot?

I have yet to try my disc out. Always get a little paranoid when I read sh*t like this.
