Quincy, M.E.

I've now been through two different box sets of Quincy and both had the same problems. Nearly every episode had sound drop outs and/or pixelization. Some instances not so bad, others where my player would skip ahead a couple of minutes. Tried the discs on my computer and on my other dvd player, same thing.

Now, I've been reading where Universal is known for this kind of problem. Especially in their releases of old TV series. Been waiting years for this release and now I'm just sending the second one back for a refund. Maybe they'll start running Quincy on tv again and I can put them on VHS....*sigh*

Try getting your money back and buy them from a different store.Sometimes stores get a bad batch of dvds meaning that every copy they have might be defective.

Thanks for the advice Jeff. Got both copies from Amazon. Next time, I'll try a brick and mortar locally. The same thought had occurred to me, about a bad batch.
