No Audio for Quicktime 7?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this, but...

I recently wanted to watch the new "King Kong" trailer, and I was prompted to download QT. Fine. I do it, and all is operating fine, but when I go to view the trailer, I get picture but absolutely no sound.

I don't have to buy QT 7 Pro, do I?

If I do, it would be only to watch trailers.

Any suggestions?

No you do not need QT pro, there is something else behind the problem, not sure what though.

The same thing happened to me except it downloaded completely properly and sound is fine. As redicilious as this sounds, are you sure all of your speakers are on and all of that? If they are, you might try to download it again.

For a while, I thought is was my speakers as well. Booted up the computer this afternoon, after re-downloading QT yesterday, and all is working perfectly.

Don't know, won't ask...
