I'm surprised there are no existing threads on this - the postings at Amazon's page for this item are full of complaints about the shoddy packaging and scratched disks. I just tried to watch "Seventh Heaven" and got a "dirty disk" error; I managed to get it to play, but it froze, skipped, and restarted, and I finally had to order a replacement from Amazon...thank god I didn't wait until the time limit had passed. When I get the replacement, I'll immediately pop each of the 12 disks in to at least make sure they play, and then watch all 12 asap.

FYI - the disks are shoved into cardboard sleeves and there are many complaints at Amazon of fingerprints as well as scratches. Not that it relates to any damage to the disks, but the construction of the package was so poorly done that I had to keep the two cardboard chunks that came inside the package to keep the books from sliding out of either end. Sad, sad, sad.
