Nope. Many places sell HDMI to DVI cables. My Sony HDTV is DVI only, so I bought one from Bettercables (they were having a sale), but I'm sure there are lots of places to get them.

Bear in mind that many DVI inputs on TVs are not HDCP-enabled. Without HDCP, DVD playback is restricted to 480p. HD-DVD playback will be fine.

Unless you're Derb.

Monoprice usually has really cheap prices on cables. You'll find one there.

Nope just get a HDMI -> DVI cable from monoprice.com

You might not be able to watch DVD upscaled if the DVI port is not HDCP-enabled, however ironically HD DVD does not require HDCP so you will be able to watch HD DVDs at full resolution.

Yes, your DVI has HDCP according to that spec sheet so you will be fine, virtually the same as an HDMI port and you will be able to upscale DVDs fine. Just get the adapter cable noted above at monoprice.

Well, according to what you posted, your dvi connection is hdcp protected, so you should see dvd's upscaled with the hd-a2. You should be fine once you get the proper cable.

Yes, run for the hills, don't look back, just run!

I had DVI-HDCP with a MONSTER adaptor. (When you say monster, ya gotta use caps! come on!) Anyway, your set probably does accept DVI & if not Component ain't too shabby.
