Don't know about the displays, but the film sucked.
![]() I believe they're a Canadian manufacturer that just started up last year.

Yes; they are a Canadian Company, and sold only in Canada. I looked at them and have several different LCD designs named after historic artists like Picasso, Rembrandt, Renoir, and the Plasma's are Van Gogh's. From what I've seen they look really nice, and look similar to Sony's, Samsung's, and Philip's.

VisionQuest Consumer Electronics - TheStar.com LVQ-32EF1A Review
This is the new tv I got And I love it!!! Its My 1st HDTV. Mine Is Full 1080P witch I was surprised to find out when i hooked my Xbox 360 and set the settings to 1080p. In Store It said 720p only. The 360 sucks at up converting dvd's it only does them 480p via component I guess u have to have HDMI for it to convert dvd's in a higher rez. I will be getting an HDMI cable for my stand alone Phillips DVD player that up coverts to 1080i, its a few years old got it back in 2005. Does anyone know how long these LCD's last? 5-10 years? I assume you should only run it a few hours a day to make it last longer. |

The most important thing to remember is, you are happy with it. It was YOUR money that bought it. You are the only one that has to be impressed with it.
That said, congrats on the new TV. What you are seeing with 1080, is the pannel scaling the 1080 signal to the pannels native 1366X768 resolution. With DVD on the Xbox, CSS prevents resolutions over 480P over component. I don't realy know what the upscaling capability of the Xbox is. I would try both and see which ones you like best. Do you have an AVR with HDMI switching? Then you can run both of them HDMI Anywho...have LOTS of fun with your new TV. j

O
Oh so thats a bad thing? Regardless I think this tv looks amazing and for the price i got a deal. It went down in price so I get another $190 back from the store, so in total I have paid $560 for the Tv witch I think is a good deal. So even though it says 1080p its actually 1080p unscaled witch is technically not 1080p? |
