Xbox360/HDMI Question

My 360 can do 1080p Via Component, but it can't do 1080p over HDMI 1080i max, Is it my tv that can only do 1080i max over HDMI Or My 360? Tv Manual say's 1080i only, and if so why would it show 1080p over component?? I am very confused. This is my TV

VisionQuest Consumer Electronics - LVQ-32EF1A

What are your thoughts on all this?

PS Do you think this is a good tv for a first HD Timer/Budget $550 HDTV??

I picked up an HDMI adapter for my 360 and have 1080P going to my TV. I don't know of any tv's off the top of my head that accept 1080P over comopnent. Even better, my HDMI cable sends audio and video to my AVR over HDMI.

FYI the Sony KDS-60A3000 accepts 1080p over component, but the Integra DTC-9.8 does not.
