Samsung to release combo Blu Ray writer/HD DVD Reader

Guess it isn't completely dead yet, Samsung confirmed they are working on a combo PC drive for release later this year. Guess I'll have a choice now

LG has had a SATA Blu-Ray writer/HD-DVD player out for a while...am I missing something?
