DirecTv DVR Online
I am guessing this belongs here since it pertains to receivers, and mine is the HD-DVR.
You can now go online, login into your account, and by clicking on the guide actually set your DVR to record shows you may have forgotten. There is also a link you can use that allows the same service from a mobile phone. It is under DVR Scheduler. I just went and tried it and it also sends you e-mail confirmations of your recordings. |

That's kinda cool. I wonder how that works if you have more than one DVR? When we get our new house built ( someday ) I'll have 4

They list it by serial number and location in the house and they have a pull down box, so it should be user friendly.
I remember them getting that info during the install, and it has always been in the system when I called to complain about technical crap. It says on the site it is a Beta, but when I got home it recorded the family guy and office episodes on TBS fine. |

I've been using it for a while from my iPhone, for at least the past couple months. I used it to schedule a program on my DVR in St. Louis while watching a race in Sebring, FL last month.
The only bummer is you can't send a recording request to multiple DVRs at once. You have to do it separately for each one.
