Did anyone see this at AVS or anywhere else? Buy 2, get one free!

http://video.barnesandnoble.com/inde...1&cds2Pid=9481

You can get 3 HD-DVD's shipped for $48! This is good on selected titles. I just placed an order for the HD-DVD versions of The Big Lebowski, Mallrats and Mystery Men. They have free 3 day shipping and you can also use this coupon code - U3N9F3P. This code pretty much covers the sales tax.

It's not too bad of a deal.

My order from Amazon shipped today which included The Big Lebowski and Mystery Men and totaled roughly $40 with standard shipping. With this B&N deal, I was able to get Mallrats for only $8 more than my amazon order.

Looks like Amazon.com is offering a slight sale on their bd movies. Some of them are $2-4 off. I got Reign of Fire and The Guardian for under $20.

I was just about to post this. Great minds think alike! I picked up Hitchhikers as well, along with Enemy of the State. I'm thinking about Dark Water.

Word from AVS Forums that HMV Canada will be having a 2 for $50 HD-DVD sale (sale on single disc HD-DVD movies) starting August 2nd. Not an official deal yet but a heads up for Canadian users/buyers. Seems like they will include Combos as well. (Slither and Tokyo Drift for me if true )

King Arthur is now $14.95. Man, they really feel a need to give this title away for some reason.

I know I shouldn't ask this here, but it's nagging me, is this film worth $15?

Looking at Amazon's prices for the various editions:

Director's Cut DVD: $10.99
Director's Cut BD: $14.95
Theatrical Cut Full Screen DVD: $17.99

I like the film as far as historical action films go, but your milage may vary. It's certainly far better than either Troy or Alexander.

Cool, I have no idea as to the history of King Arthur, so I guess that helps.

Well, it doesn't follow any of the traditional legends. Instead it tries to imagine the story as it might have happened in real history, kind of like Troy did. Only Arthur works a lot better than Troy because the story isn't dependent on actions of mythical gods. Once they tried to remove them from Troy large parts of the story fell apart.

Strange:

Shooter (Blu-ray) Low Price: $41.18

Cool to see more and more $15 titles. Deciding between The Terminator and RE: Apocalypse.

Yeah, I guess I should have clarified. The sale was some discs that were $15, and others that were a couple bucks cheaper than amazon. But a lot of their prices are higher than amazon on other movies.

Does Buy.com take forever to ship or something?

Placed an order Saturday and on Sunday, all items "Usually ships in 1 to 2 business days", Standard shipping...neither shipped yet.
