Amazon.com has dropped the Blu-ray version of I Am Legend to $18.95 (the same price of the HD-DVD)

Walmart.com right now has I Am Legend on BD for 18.87. I went to my local Walmart and they price matched right at the register for me no questions asked!

Beats waiting for it to come through the mail from Amazon.com

I'm wondering how Warner screwed up their pricing of I am Legend for BD in the first place.

That $18.95 price point is supposed to be the future of HD DVD Warner titles, not BDs.

These prices are insane. Have you ever ordered from them? I've never heard of them.

I bought more than half. A lot of them are "double dips" i.e. mpeg2, not the director's cut, etc, but for $10 I can watch these temporarily and resell them on ebay without losing anything.

I heard there are funky things with the subtitles, when the aliens speak. But I don't know for sure. And yeah you can get your money back at a used dvd store if it's bad.

Circuit City is having a 50% off HD DVD sale. As far as I can tell, it's on everything in the store.
