davisdvd first reported a release date of Feb 13th & highdefdigest reported the release of Feb 20th. Amazon has it listed as February 20th as well so I'll edit the 13th out. Doh!

Well all us HD-DVD owners. The UK release of The Prestige will indeed be on HD-DVD as of March 12th thanks to Warner Bros. distribution rights there for the film. I think i can count it as my first import buy for sure on HD-DVD

Some places don't know jack about actual street dates, so if they get a BD or HD DVD early, they will put the title on the shelf sinse the DVD version has been out for some time. There are other stores that flag the UPC for a specific release date.. I picked up Rez Evil 2 a week early & brought it up to the cashier.. Once she rang it through it showed on the computer, not for sale.

I still have the polygram release on DVD. I don't think I had a widescreen set at the time it was released so anamorphic didn't mean much to me.

I look forward to The Game on HD as well.

Would be nice if thelookandsoundofperfect site could at least provide a street date before attaching cover art. Universal is leading the studio for most HD titles, so I can't complain.
