I suspect after the savage beating their first titles took in reviews, Sony is reconsidering how it releases discs and possibily waiting for dual layer discs. They also probably want to push the release back a bit since the Sony player is delayed till October now. You've got to be pretty pissed if you're Samsung. Odds are all the titles that are out now are pretty much all there's going to be till fall. Hard to sell players when you only have a handfull of titles for months.

Alls I know is DreamWorks, Paramount, HBO & New Line better step up & release stuff on HD DVD.
Although Warner is HUGE & Universal not far behind with "blockbuster" titles, I don't think the 2 can ultimately keep HD DVD going for a full year without any other studio's lending a hand. Even if BR didn't exsist. |

Well, Warner is including some advanced audio codecs for BD. The 4 releases will use Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 Training Day will not have an optional Dolby TrueHD track like the HD DVD release.
