I went to the local used book/dvd store. They had both of these for $30 something a piece. I traded in some old dvds and games I didn't want and walked away with these and some credit left.

Somebody fucked up. Those are supposed to put out before the store opens on Tuesday. I can't imagine the store getting the DVDs late, they should have those in stock well before that Tuesday.

Anywho, to keep this on topic. The last BD I bought was Bram Stoker's Dracula. The video is a bit of a let down. Blah. I've got the Criterion Laserdisc and the movie only DVD. So... I guess I got it for the (new) commentary by Coppola.

I'm still trying to justify this purchase. I think.

No. Pretty much all of Sony's UK BD's are playable on Region 1 players. Same with Disney.

Mine shipped Saturday which means I should have it by Friday. I'll watch it this weekend for sure and can't wait also. Dreamworks/Paramount has U.S. rights so we may never see this Region 1 at the rate they release titles.

Price just dropped on amazon too. Its only 15.95 so if you previously ordered it, you can easily get a price adjustment.

Ordered the following. But only Air Mail so may not get them for two weeks.
Some are replacing my HD-DVDs, some replacing Region B titles which mess about in my player, and some replacing normal SD. Goal is the only one I've never owned, but saw it on TV and loved it.
