My first. Picked it up for £11.29 off e-bay, apparently brand new.

I don't have a player yet but I am waiting to see if a combo comes out since I don't want to stack up separate units.

Just got Enchanted and I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie again. Plus, the classic clips in hi-def....

Looks like 4 copies to me.

Didn't know Future Shop had a case promo going on for this. Is the case the same height as regular BDs?

It is. My boys ask me to pick them up, good thing because they are selling fast!

As for the height, it is. They are the same as the Die Hard Collection case.

Yeah, I was told that after I bought it (although I was also told that 28 Days Later looked bad). It was $8. I'll sell it off if it sucks that bad. Didn't Bracke give it a 4/5?

Well, it was in the early days of the format, and by comparison to other blu-ray's he might have felt it was okay. You can tell it is high definition, but it's just not a good transfer at all. I wouldn't be surprised if it got a remaster double dip later on. Lionsgate could make a lot on people buying the better version, with a clean picture and a lossless soundtrack.

When I had my older Sony set I could do split DVD/HD PIPs.

Stargate was one of a few I looked at. It was the Ultimate Edition. While the BD does look like shit, it is miles away from the DVD in color reproduction & believe it or not.. detail. Just look beneath the grain.

Let me know how you like this. I have DVE for HD DVD, but I'd like a one for BD, hopefully with better menus.

Yeah, I'll let you know.

I HATE the HD-DVD DVE disk. The menus are impossible to navigate, at least on the SD-DVD side. (Didn't have a HD-DVD player to try the HD side.)

The cover doesn't look like that btw. And the case is even thinner than an HD-DVD case.

I still don't have a BD player and I am worried that this whole Hi-Def thing might still go tits up.
