Overseas HD Titles - Page 4

It's not rare, you can easily buy a copy for only a hundred bucks or so on ebay.

Oddly, all indications are that the disc is not an overseas version, but rather a US release that got canceled in the Warner switch after some were pressed. Note the back of the box states for sale in the US and Canada only.

Fox will be using Dolby TrueHD for the first time ever on July 4th BDs of Nightwatch and Daywatch in Japan, the only DTS option being standard.

Godfather is definitely coming soon as it was recently restored for re-release.

In the U.S. I hope? Same for Indy I would assume. Would hate to have to import those.

I'm sure they will be. Since the picture below includes the fourth film as well, I assume they'll release the set of all four when the fourth film his dvd and blu-ray. I can't imagine Paramount releasing them only in Spain but not in the US. Though digitalbits says Paramount says that picture is fake, so it probably doesn't matter. Still, I wouldn't be suprised if we see the Indy films in Q4, assuming Lucas allows it.
Yes, the Godfather had a new restoration, but that doesn't mean it's release on blu-ray any time soon is certain. Many films have gotten new restorations but aren't out on blu-ray. That said, I have a good feeling about Paramount putting it out. Spielberg paid for the restoration, and he may push them to release it.

I was going too until Paramunt announced their early return to Blu. Some on the AVS Forum have seen it plus a few very positive reviews for the disc are also linked. Started you on 4th page where they stop most of the bickering

Yeah, tell me about it. It was my number one reason for supporting HD DVD. But no point in beating a dead horse.

I'm just crossing my fingers that European catalogue titles released by European studios/distributors won't be region locked.

We recommend getting what you want now since all titles will not be re-ordered as we run low in stock or sell out.

I would like to thank all of the customers that have stuck around with us since the early 2000s. For years I have corresponded with many of you via emails and have met many of you face to face at conventions. I can wholeheartedly say that we have the best and most loyal customers a business could ever imagine.

As i mentioned before this hasn't been an easy decision since I've given as much as i could to make Xploited Cinema a successful DVD retailing website, but I just can't keep doing this for the rest of my life. We will be around in some capacity for who knows how long dealing with the day in day out activities we have always been doing. The only main change noticed will be the elimination of stocking new releases and older catalog titles. Orders will be processed in the same timely manner as in the past and order and item related questions will be answered promptly.

From the bottom of my heart I would once again like to thank everyone who has been an Xploited Cinema customer through the years!
