Kill Bill coming to HD DVD by XMAS?

HD DVD-exclusive studio Weinstein has the rights to the single-film version, which apparently is hitting DVD in November. Based on Weinsten's past releases, its not unlikely that it will hit HD DVD in November, too.

Well, it was done to keep the length of the film down. I think it was a good idea, and the two volumes are different styles. That said, I am also eager to see it all in one film.

As much as I would love to have this, I'm not going to get excited about it until I actually see this in the store. This was suppose to be released a few years ago and never was.

Hmm...I see that Buena Vista has the rights to the films separately. I will have to see whether the Weinsteins put out a THD track on this. I know that Disney will have LPCM on their films. Plus I know the picture will be superb. This might be another good test to differentiate the two formats. Disney versus Weinsteins.
