Amazon.ca has a Blu-ray pre-order listing for The Return of the Living Dead slated for September 9th.

If this actually surfaces, this is (more) tremendous incentive for me to go format neutral.

Sorry, but I'd trample the negative canisters of Ratatouille to save ROLD in a film vault fire.

I would too, seeing as there are no film negatives of a computer animated film.

If this pre order listing is true, does it mean the mgm/fox embargo is over since fox puts out mgm dvds and blu-rays?

Great question!! I have the dvd version of this movie, so I'll probably wait for reviews before I think of buying it. I do remember that Return of the Living Dead Part 2, creeped me out when I was little. Especially the dead kid that tormented the boy.
