How are the disc snaps on the chunky monkey case style?

Thinking about importing a European Blu-ray and it has the thicker case design. Anyone have a case like this, on HD DVD or BD? How is the inner disc spindle snap? Does it hold the disc well?

The PS3 game cases are like that, only clear instead of blue... They feel REALLY sturdy and the snaps are good.

My UK copy of SERENITY has a similar case and I got it with the HD DVD out of the Hub...minor scratch/two.

The European / Australian cases are much better. I find the North American cases a bit to thin, and I always feel like I'm about to tear the plastic.

The wider cases look better on the shelf aswell IMHO

I'd rather have them take up less space, personally.

Me too.

I do like the chunky cases though. If they are exactly the same as PS3 games.

I agree. Space is an issue with me, so I'll stick with the thinner cases.

So do many. I found a survey once on an Australian forum and 83% preferred the smaller cases. Just as long as they keep the height the same!!
