I am all over this and can't wait to rewatch the movie. This was one of the best movies of the year.

I disagree, I thought King Kong was ... never mind.

Actually, Stardust was one of this year’s disappointments for me. I didn’t like Matthew Vaughn’s direction, thought the SFX were banal and could have done completely without Tristan. And Pfeiffer’s accent sucked.

Well some of you did think a movie about a 40foot monkey terrorizing New York City was the epitome of movie making...

I think I went in with low expectations though I really wanted to see it, so thinking of movies on a scale from where I place my expectations to where the movie actually comes though, this one had a huge deviation.

I gave it a 6/10 and noted that "it could have been Dungeons and Dragons." So, it did give it credit for not being as bad as it could have been.

Another bad movie I will rewatch once a year at least. I don't know what this is saying about my taste.

I liked it. Only part I would have left out was De Niro's Johnny Depp ripoff.

Best movie of the year.

Got any details on the standard DVD release?

I'm also getting this one when it releases, I thought it was great!! For me it was fun fantasy escapism, and one that I left the theater feeling good about.

Yes, the case says, "Out of Order, please purchase HD-DVD".

Looks like PH and reapersaurus agree yet again.

I might give this a rent. The cover art looks dorky though.

They've revised the cover art:

I guess they figured that a quote from Parenting Magazine wasn't going to move units.
