The First Annual High-Def Disc Awards
The High-Def Disc Awards dinner was part of High-Def 2.0, a one-day conference held Dec. 4 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif. High-Def 2.0 was presented by Home Media Magazine in cooperation with The Hollywood Reporter and the Entertainment Merchants Association.

These results are ....surprsing I think. What was the criteria in chosing a winner?

How can they have these awards when more HD titles are coming before the end of the year?

I'm not quite sure how credible these awards can be. Some of the winners just seem suspect.
How is it that the Blu-ray version of 300 won Best Title, yet the HD DVD version won best Bonus Feature. If all things are equal (sound/picture and other features) but the HD DVD version adds a Best Feature that the Blu-ray version doesn't have, then shouldn't the HD DVD version win Best Title by logical default?
